Endangered Ecological Communities: restoration and rehabilitation

Biolink is engaged in a six-year project to restore and rehabilitate an area of Lowland Subtropical Rainforest in Tweed Shire, on the far north coast of New South Wales. This follows the earlier development (by Biolink) of a Vegetation Management Plan and Habitat Restoration Plan for the two adjacent areas. Restoration work includes the protection, propagation and translocation (within the site) of threatened plant species, planting large areas with locally endemic species and on-going weed control (including camphor control) and maintenance.
