* Collaborative Projects
We often work with other consultancy companies and/or organisations to assist them with the undertaking of various projects. Current collaborations include:
- working collaboratively with ARCADIS and Transport NSW to understand and mitigate potential impacts on koalas arising from construction of a proposed highway interchange and stormwater drainage channel located near Six-mile Creek Road in the Port Stephens LGA.
- a long-term study being undertaken in the North Byron Parklands by our colleague Dr. Mark Fitzgerald. This study uses a BACI (Before, After, Control, Impact) designed monitoring program assessing the potential impacts upon birds of various festival events that occur at this location.
- working with the Conservation Programs Branch of OEH to develop Koala survey guiidelines for incorporation into the Biodiversity Assessment Method.
