This project represents the second instance of a LGA-wide survey of koalas across Council managed lands in Ipswich, QLD, following a baseline survey event in 2020. Koala activity was assessed using the Spot Assessment Technique (SAT) and Rapid-SAT protocol at 83 regularly distributed sites for three large conservation estates (White Rock Spring Mountain, Flinders-Goolman and Mount Grandchester Conservation Estates) and several smaller parks and reserves.
